   Who’s on the top of the heap? Is it Olmert and Abbas? I can’t imagine a scenario where the Palestinians would say, “It is time”. Islam is still fighting the Crusades. When will they give that up?

   I got to know some Palestinians personally in Israel and they were quite friendly because I was a tourist and was paying them. However, you couldn’t talk politics without enraging them. The same is true for Muslims I work with. Very friendly except when the subject is politics. They can ratchet up the anti-American rhetoric to a fever pitch.

   My hope is with Palestinian mothers. I hope that someday they won’t want to see their children splattered to bits in the name of Allah. This is my prayer.
