Agreed. The less congress, or any government does, the better for us. Here is why.

Over 200 years smarter people than ones that serve us now, wrote millions of laws that cover everything. There is nothing left to cover and what ever they do now, we suffer, because the one thing all laws have in common is that they take away the rights of someone for some reason while protecting the rights of others.

It's already against the law to do anything someone ought not to be doing.

It's best to elect these idiots every 10 years or so and let them work a year to fix what ever needs fixing.

For not upholding the laws of the land, and giving themselves special privileges, this group of elected officials, along with several previous ones, should be rounded up and put in the pokey for malfeasance.

The best congresses are when congress is controlled by a party different than the Whitehouse. Then congress just argues with the president and doesn't do as much harm. Considering the makeup of our current congress, doing nothing is miles better than doing something terrible.

I guess the Democrats are working so hard in both houses of congress that they want to pass legislation so that they would only have to work days a week for the measly $167,000 they get a year - not to mention the million in perks.

Makes me want to cry for their plight :-)

Maybe that would solve all our problems. Let congress go on a permanent hiatus. At least they couldn't make things worse.
